How Smart Parents Make Smart Kids

I just finished reading Brain Child - How Smart Parents Make Smart Kids by Tony Buzan. Wow, what a great book! It's as if our babies tell us what to do to make them happy, healthy and smart.

Here's its foreword "Hello Mum! Hello Dad! Brain Child is my book for you, written from my perpective... written to describe everything I would ideally like in my upbringin to help me develop the full potential of my mind, body and spirit, in a way that makes life easier and happier for all of us."

We've never known before that such our simple actions, gestures and words make a whole different impact to our babies. Well, it's time to attend to baby.

In the mean time, go to your closest public library, borrow and read Brain Child. If you don't have time to go to library, you can easily order it online at Amazon by clicking here.

Baby's brain

As a new parent, I try to read everything that can improve my knowledge about baby's development... one of the books that I find very interesting to read is this one... it's called Brain Child by Tony Buzan.
Here's the review...

BRAIN CHILD: How Smart Parents Make Smart Kids by Tony Buzan
With Tony Buzan it’s all brain, no pain! Research shows that the time and energy you dedicate to your child in the first five years pays off dividends for the next ten. With competition for the best schools stiffening, parents having children later and being more aware of the part they must play in their child's education, there is more and more demand for practical resources like Brain Child. Tony Buzan, world-renowned inventor Mind Maps, has written the ultimate 'operations manual' to help parents liberate their child's true brain potential. He explains how the brain develops and the simple things you can do to stimulate your child's multiple intelligences – including social, creative, numerical and physical – and unlock his or her natural genius.• Bring out the Leonardo or Einstein in your child• Share fun memory games, number skills and Mind Maps• Raise your child to be happy and confident• Learn new ways of talking to and reading with your child• Let your child love numbers as well as words• Watch him or her excel at school and succeed in lifeAll parents who pick up this book will be inspired and empowered by Tony's understanding of their child's brain and what they can do to fulfil his or her true potential.

Welcome to Our Baby Development Blog

Welcome to our baby development blog. We are happy parents who are fortunately granted a healthy and smart baby boy. Our baby boy is six-month old now and he already crawls, sits, stands up, tries to walk and talks baby language!

As parents, do we want to give the best to our babies, don't we? And what the best gifts for our babies are? Love, caring, passion, happiness and knowledge. We believe that all parents by nature already have love, caring and passion for their babies. Unfortunately not all of us have the opportunity to know the required information to help our babies healthier and smarter.

Therefore we want to share with you our experience and knowledge that we receive from reading, attending seminars and consultations with the experts. We also want to have a discussion and want your opinions where we all can give the best to our babies.
So please post your comments. And we really really encourage you to post your comments.

To our happy, healthy and smart babies!
